In Assassin's Creed Rogue, what is the full name of the Assassin who defects to the Templar Order?

The story behind the answer

In Assassin's Creed Rogue, the Assassin who defects to the Templar Order is Shay Patrick Cormac. Shay begins the story as an Assassin operating in the North Atlantic during the Seven Years' War, but a disastrous mission and growing disagreement with the Brotherhood change his allegiance.

His defection gives Rogue its distinctive perspective: the player experiences the Assassin-Templar conflict through a former Assassin who joins the opposing organization. Shay later hunts former allies and uses Assassin knowledge against them. The game connects directly with Assassin's Creed III, Black Flag, and Unity through characters, events, and locations.

Liam O'Brien is Shay's Assassin friend, while Achilles Davenport is his mentor before Shay's break with the Brotherhood. Haytham Kenway is a Templar grandmaster in Assassin's Creed III, but he is not Rogue's protagonist. Shay's name is therefore more precise than simply “Cormac,” because Patrick is part of his full canonical name.
