In Assassin's Creed Revelations, which city does Ezio visit during the Ottoman era?

The story behind the answer

In Assassin's Creed Revelations, Ezio visits Constantinople during the Ottoman era.

The game is set primarily in Constantinople in the early sixteenth century, when the city was the capital of the Ottoman Empire. Ezio arrives while pursuing keys connected to Altaïr's legacy and becomes involved with local Assassins, Ottoman political tensions, and the Byzantine Templars operating in the city.

The modern name Istanbul is commonly used for the city today, but Constantinople is the historical name used by the game's setting and in its title-era context. Revelations also returns to Masyaf and includes sections involving Altaïr, making it a bridge between Ezio's Renaissance story and the original game's protagonist. It is therefore distinct from Assassin's Creed Odyssey's ancient Greek world and Origins' Ptolemaic Egypt.
