In Assassin's Creed Origins, which ancient Egyptian city is the game's main settlement and Bayek's home?

The story behind the answer

In Assassin's Creed Origins, Siwa is Bayek's home and the game's principal early settlement. Bayek is a Medjay, a protector of the region, and the story begins in the Siwa Oasis before he travels through ancient Egypt to investigate a conspiracy.

Siwa gives the opening chapters a distinct setting far from the Nile Valley's major cities. Its oasis environment, temple, cliffs, and surrounding desert introduce the game's exploration systems and establish Bayek's relationship with his wife, Aya, and with the people he protects.

Alexandria, Memphis, and Thebes are also important Egyptian locations, but they are not Bayek's home. Alexandria becomes especially significant because of its Greek-influenced culture and its connections to Cleopatra and Julius Caesar. The game is set in the first century BCE, during the final period of Ptolemaic Egypt.
