In Assassin's Creed Odyssey, what is the name of the protagonist's spear-shaped weapon?

The story behind the answer

The Spear of Leonidas is the spear-shaped weapon used by the protagonist in Assassin's Creed Odyssey.

Odyssey is set in ancient Greece during the Peloponnesian War. The player chooses either Kassandra or Alexios, who are siblings and descendants of Leonidas I of Sparta. The spear is inherited through that family line and functions as a key gameplay and story object.

Although it is called a spear, the weapon is depicted as a broken spearhead mounted in a bracer-like form. It grants abilities and is upgraded as the story progresses. Its connection to Leonidas helps link the protagonist's personal history to the opening sequence at Thermopylae.

The Spear of Leonidas is not the Apple of Eden, which is a separate Piece of Eden in the franchise. Odyssey's weapon should also not be confused with the Staff of Hermes Trismegistus, an artifact connected to the game's later storyline.
