In Assassin's Creed II, what is the name of Ezio Auditore's hidden wrist blade?

The story behind the answer

In Assassin's Creed II, Ezio Auditore's concealed wrist weapon is the Hidden Blade.

The Hidden Blade is the signature weapon of the Assassin Brotherhood. It is worn beneath the sleeve and extends from a bracer, allowing an Assassin to strike discreetly. Ezio receives and uses the weapon during his transformation from a nobleman seeking revenge into a trained Assassin.

Assassin's Creed II expands the weapon beyond its role in the first game. Leonardo da Vinci modifies Ezio's equipment after studying designs left by Altaïr Ibn-La'Ahad. Ezio can eventually use a second Hidden Blade, reflecting his growing status and the technological development of the Brotherhood.

Later Assassin's Creed games introduce related weapons that can be confused with it. The Phantom Blade is a wrist-mounted crossbow from Unity, while the Hookblade is a climbing and combat tool from Revelations. Neither is the standard concealed blade used by Ezio in Assassin's Creed II.
