How was color grading for The Odyssey (2026) performed before the final print?

Color grading for The Odyssey (2026) was performed with color filters on a light table.

The production used an analog color-grading method in which numerical values were assigned to each shot for the final print. This process reflected the film’s commitment to photochemical finishing even though the negative was scanned for initial editing.

The workflow combined traditional and modern stages. More than 2 million feet of 65mm negative were processed at FotoKem, then converted into high-resolution digital files for editorial work. Afterward, the negative was cut and spliced by hand.
