Georgia O'Keeffe was 98 years old when she died in 1986. She was born on November 15, 1887, and died on March 6, 1986, in Santa Fe, New Mexico.
Her nearly century-long life covered the development of American modernism and included major changes in art, photography, museums, and the position of women artists in public culture.
