The film received three Golden Globe nominations in total. Along with Best Motion Picture—Animated, it was nominated for Best Original Score for Germaine Franco and Best Original Song for Lin-Manuel Miranda’s “Dos Oruguitas.” Only the animated-feature category resulted in a win.
