Two Forza Horizon games were released on the Xbox 360: Forza Horizon and Forza Horizon 2. The original Forza Horizon arrived in 2012, while Forza Horizon 2 followed in 2014.
Forza Horizon 2 was released on both Xbox 360 and Xbox One, making it a transitional entry between console generations. The two versions shared the same broad setting and festival concept, but they were not identical technically. The Xbox 360 edition used a separate development effort led by Sumo Digital and lacked several features found in the Xbox One version.
Forza Horizon 2 was also the final Forza game released for Xbox 360.
