Brian Tyler composed the Furious 7 music used in Forza Horizon 2 Presents Fast & Furious.
The expansion borrowed the film’s musical identity as part of its Fast & Furious crossover. Released in 2015, it added a standalone story and special events built around the movie franchise, including music from Furious 7 for its Showcase events.
Tyler was already closely associated with the series. He composed scores for Fast Five and several other Fast & Furious films, returning for Furious 7, directed by James Wan. His work combines orchestra, percussion, electronic textures and driving action cues rather than functioning like a conventional pop-song soundtrack.
A common mix-up is confusing the film’s score with its separate soundtrack album. The latter contains songs by performers such as Wiz Khalifa, Charlie Puth and others, while Tyler composed the original instrumental score. Forza Horizon 2’s reference is to that score, making Brian Tyler the canonical answer.
