There are six different candy colors in standard Candy Crush Saga.
The regular candies are red, orange, yellow, green, blue, and purple. Each color also has its own recognizable shape, helping players distinguish candies beyond hue alone. Players normally match three or more candies of the same color in a row or column to clear them from the board.
Six is the standard color set for the game, but that does not mean every level displays all six colors at once. Many levels deliberately use fewer colors—sometimes only three, four, or five—to change the difficulty and make special-candy combinations easier or harder to create. This is a common source of confusion when players remember seeing fewer colors on a particular board.
Special candies, such as striped candies, wrapped candies, and color bombs, are not additional regular colors. They are enhanced versions or power-ups created by particular matches. Candy Crush Soda Saga and other related games can introduce different visual elements, but the original Candy Crush Saga's standard candy palette contains six colors.
