Max Verstappen won 10 consecutive races during the 2023 Formula One season.
The streak began at the Miami Grand Prix in May, when Verstappen won from ninth on the starting grid, and continued through the Monaco, Spanish, Canadian, Austrian, British, Hungarian, Belgian, Dutch and Italian Grands Prix. His victory at Monza became the record-breaking tenth win in succession.
The run ended at the following Singapore Grand Prix, where Ferrari’s Carlos Sainz won. That result stopped Verstappen short of an uninterrupted sweep of the season’s late European races, but his ten-race sequence established a new record for consecutive Formula One Grand Prix victories by a driver.
The achievement formed part of an extraordinary 2023 campaign. Verstappen won 19 of the season’s 22 Grands Prix, while Red Bull won every race except Singapore. He also secured his third consecutive Drivers’ Championship before the season ended.
