The 2026 America250 coinage includes five commemorative quarter designs.
The semiquincentennial coin program includes several denominations. It features cents and nickels from the current series, a commemorative dime, five quarters, a half dollar, and a one-dollar coin; special gold pieces may also be included.
The quarters are part of a broader redesign program authorized by the Circulating Collectible Coin Redesign Act of 2020. That law also authorized the American Women Quarters Program and other future circulating commemorative coin programs.
The number five refers to quarter designs, not to the total number of coins or denominations in the entire America250 program. That distinction prevents a common counting error: the program contains multiple denominations, while the quarters form only one portion of the commemorative issue.
