How long is a Single Session run in the original Tony Hawk's Pro Skater?

A Single Session run in the original Tony Hawk's Pro Skater lasts two minutes. During that timed run, players can pursue scores, complete objectives, collect items, and link tricks into increasingly valuable combinations.

The strict time limit is central to the game's arcade structure. Rather than presenting a long continuous course, Tony Hawk's Pro Skater gives players a compact window to make decisions: build speed, find a line, perform tricks, land safely, and use the remaining seconds efficiently. A strong run often depends as much on route planning and combo control as on individual tricks.

Players sometimes remember longer sessions from later Tony Hawk games or from modes that allow freer experimentation. The original game's standard timed format is shorter and more focused. Its two-minute limit helped make repeated attempts feel quick, competitive, and easy to compare with friends.
