For which console was Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance released?
Answer
GameCube
Answer
GameCube
Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance was released for the Nintendo GameCube.
Nintendo published the game in 2005 after Intelligent Systems began development in response to the overseas success of the Game Boy Advance’s Fire Emblem. It was the ninth main installment and the first Fire Emblem entry to use 3D in-game graphics, full-motion video cutscenes, and voice acting.
The story takes place on Tellius and follows Ike, a young mercenary whose group works to restore Princess Elincia to Crimea’s throne after Daein’s invasion. The GameCube hardware allowed the series to move from its established 2D presentation into a three-dimensional battlefield and cinematic format. Its direct sequel, Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn, was released for the Wii in 2007, which is a common source of platform mix-ups. Path of Radiance itself remained a GameCube title.
