Taylor Swift included “august” in the Folklore section of the Eras Tour set list.
The Eras Tour began in March 2023 and organized its production around periods of Swift’s career. In the Folklore act, she performed “august” alongside other songs from the 2020 album, wearing a flowing dress and using a woodland-inspired stage design. The arrangement emphasized the album’s acoustic and atmospheric character.
“August” is sometimes associated with Evermore because both albums were created during the same pandemic-era period and share collaborators, including Aaron Dessner and Jack Antonoff. However, the song itself belongs to Folklore, and its regular Eras Tour placement was in that album’s section. Surprise songs performed outside the standard set should not be confused with the regular era sequence.
