At which museum is Georgia O'Keeffe's largest public collection displayed?

The story behind the answer

Georgia O'Keeffe's largest public collection is displayed at the Georgia O'Keeffe Museum.

The museum opened in Santa Fe, New Mexico, in 1997, eleven years after O'Keeffe's death. It holds the world's largest permanent collection of her work, including paintings, drawings, photographs, and personal materials.

The institution also operates the Georgia O'Keeffe Home and Studio in Abiquiú and the O'Keeffe Research Center. Together, these sites preserve both the finished artworks and the places connected to her working life.

The museum is not the same as the Georgia O'Keeffe Foundation, which manages rights and supports scholarship. Nor is the answer Crystal Bridges, which owns Jimson Weed/White Flower No. 1 but does not hold O'Keeffe's largest collection.
