At which major 2021 awards event did Taylor Swift perform “august” live?

Taylor Swift performed “august” live at the 63rd Annual Grammy Awards in 2021.

The performance formed part of a Folklore-centered medley that also included “cardigan” and “willow.” Swift performed with collaborators Jack Antonoff and Aaron Dessner in a woodland-themed setting that matched Folklore’s visual atmosphere.

The appearance took place after Folklore had become a major critical and commercial success. At the same ceremony, the album won Album of the Year, making it Swift’s third album to receive that award.

The performance is distinct from Swift’s later performances of “august” on the Eras Tour, which ran from 2023 to 2024. The Grammy appearance was an awards-show performance, while the Eras Tour versions were part of a large concert production.
