At which Grammy Awards did Taylor Swift’s Folklore win Album of the Year, helping recognize “august”?”

Taylor Swift’s Folklore won Album of the Year at the 63rd Annual Grammy Awards. The ceremony took place in 2021 and recognized music released during the preceding eligibility period, including the 2020 album containing “august.”

The award was presented to Swift as the album’s primary artist, with the win also reflecting the work of its writers, producers, engineers, and other contributors. Folklore became Swift’s third Album of the Year winner, following Fearless and 1989.

The ceremony number is easy to confuse with the album’s release year or with other Grammy ceremonies tied to Swift’s career. Folklore was released in 2020, but the 63rd ceremony occurred in 2021. Also, “august” did not win a separate individual Grammy category; its connection to the award comes through Folklore’s Album of the Year victory and the album’s credited creative team.
