At which Grammy Awards did Taylor Swift perform “august” in a medley with “cardigan” and “willow”?

Taylor Swift performed “august” at the 63rd Annual Grammy Awards in a medley with “cardigan” and “willow.”

The ceremony took place on March 14, 2021. Swift began the performance with “cardigan,” continued with “august,” and finished with “willow,” creating a sequence that connected Folklore with Evermore.

Jack Antonoff and Aaron Dessner accompanied her during the performance. It was the first time the three performed together, making the appearance notable beyond the song selection itself.

The medley also reflected the close relationship between Swift’s 2020 albums. “cardigan” and “august” come from Folklore, while “willow” opens Evermore, which was released later that year.
