At which Grammy Awards ceremony did Taylor Swift’s Folklore win Album of the Year?

Taylor Swift’s Folklore won Album of the Year at the 63rd Annual Grammy Awards.

The ceremony took place in 2021 and recognized music released during the 2020 eligibility period. Folklore’s win made Swift the first woman in Grammy history to win Album of the Year three times, following Fearless and 1989.

The album received five Grammy nominations at the ceremony. “Cardigan” was nominated for Best Pop Solo Performance and Song of the Year, while “Exile” competed for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance. Folklore won the night’s top album prize.

This award also matters to the credits surrounding “august.” After the album won, the Recording Academy recognized Joe Alwyn as a co-producer on the track, although the original Folklore liner notes credited Swift and Jack Antonoff as its producers.
