At which event was Pokémon Pokopia announced in September 2025?

Pokémon Pokopia was announced during a Nintendo Direct in September 2025.

Nintendo Direct presentations are video announcements used by Nintendo to reveal or update games and related products. Pokopia's reveal introduced a new kind of Pokémon experience centered on restoring a world, creating habitats, and living alongside Pokémon.

The announcement came several months before the game's worldwide release on March 5, 2026. It is sometimes mixed up with the later release-date news or with Pokémon Presents broadcasts, but the Wikipedia development section specifically identifies a Nintendo Direct in September 2025 as the announcement event.
