Answer
Super Bowl XLVII
Answer
Super Bowl XLVII
Beyoncé performed the first of her two Super Bowl halftime shows at Super Bowl XLVII.
The halftime show took place on February 3, 2013, at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans. The Baltimore Ravens defeated the San Francisco 49ers in the game, which was briefly interrupted by a power outage during the second half.
Beyoncé’s set included solo songs such as “Crazy in Love,” “Love on Top,” and “Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It).” Destiny’s Child members Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams also appeared, reuniting with Beyoncé on “Bootylicious,” “Independent Women Part I,” and “Single Ladies.”
Her second Super Bowl halftime performance came at Super Bowl 50 in 2016, where she performed “Formation” alongside Coldplay and Bruno Mars. The two appearances are therefore easy to mix up, especially because both included major choreography and guest performers.
