At what lunar site did Apollo 11 make the first crewed Moon landing?

The story behind the answer

Apollo 11 made the first crewed Moon landing at the Sea of Tranquility.

NASA’s Apollo 11 Lunar Module, Eagle, landed in the lunar mare known as Mare Tranquillitatis, translated as the Sea of Tranquility, on July 20, 1969. Commander Neil Armstrong and Lunar Module Pilot Buzz Aldrin descended to the surface, while Command Module Pilot Michael Collins remained in lunar orbit aboard Columbia.

Armstrong became the first person to walk on the Moon several hours after landing, followed by Aldrin. The astronauts spent more than 21 hours on the lunar surface, conducting experiments, taking photographs, deploying instruments, and collecting about 21.5 kilograms of lunar material.

The landing site is sometimes confused with other Apollo destinations, such as the Fra Mauro Highlands, where Apollo 14 landed, or the Ocean of Storms, the site of the uncrewed Luna 9 landing. Apollo 11 returned safely to Earth on July 24, 1969, after completing the first human expedition to another world.
