Approximately 25 million LEGO bricks were used to build LEGO House in Billund.
LEGO House, opened in 2017, is an experience centre in Billund, Denmark—the hometown of the LEGO Group. It is nicknamed the “Home of the Brick” and combines museum displays, interactive building areas, galleries and public spaces. The brick count refers to the LEGO elements available throughout the attraction, including models and hands-on experiences, rather than implying that the building’s structural walls are made from ordinary loose bricks.
The building covers about 12,000 square metres and includes famous large-scale creations such as the Tree of Creativity, giant animals and LEGO waterfalls. Visitors can explore several colour-themed experience zones and a LEGO history area. A common mix-up is confusing LEGO House with the LEGO House Architecture set, which contains only hundreds of pieces; the real attraction contains millions.
