With whom did Aretha Franklin co-write the song 'Think'?

The story behind the answer

Aretha Franklin co-wrote the song “Think” with Ted White.

Released in 1968, “Think” was written by Franklin and White during a pivotal period in her career. White was Franklin’s husband and manager at the time, and the pair also collaborated on several other songs, including “Dr. Feelgood” and “Don’t Let Me Lose This Dream.”

The track appeared on Franklin’s album Aretha Now and became one of her major late-1960s successes. It reached No. 7 on the Billboard Hot 100 and No. 1 on the magazine’s Hot Rhythm & Blues Singles chart, making it Franklin’s sixth R&B chart-topper.

Jerry Wexler is sometimes confused with White because Wexler produced the recording, but he was not credited as its co-writer. Franklin later recorded new versions for The Blues Brothers soundtrack in 1980 and for her 1989 album Through the Storm.
