Who wrote the poem 'Song of Myself'?

“Who wrote the poem ‘Song of Myself’?” Walt Whitman wrote it. The poem is one of the central works in Whitman’s Leaves of Grass and is widely regarded as a defining statement of his poetic vision.

It first appeared in 1855 as the opening poem of the first edition of Leaves of Grass, which Whitman published at his own expense. It was initially untitled, later called “Poem of Walt Whitman, an American,” and eventually received its familiar title in the final 1891–92 edition.
