Amy Madigan won Best Supporting Actress for Weapons at the 2026 Oscars. She played Gladys in Zach Cregger’s horror film and took the prize at the 98th Academy Awards on March 15, 2026.

Madigan’s win was a major late-career milestone. Her first Oscar nomination came 40 years earlier for Twice in a Lifetime, making the gap between her nominations the longest in Oscar history for an actress. Weapons marked her return to the supporting-actress race after that long absence.
