Kevin Durant was the MVP of the 2018 NBA Finals. The Golden State Warriors forward earned the Bill Russell NBA Finals Most Valuable Player Award after leading his team past the Cleveland Cavaliers in a four-game sweep.

Durant averaged 28.8 points, 10.8 rebounds, and 7.5 assists per game in the series. His defining performance came in Game 3, when he scored a playoff career-high 43 points, grabbed 13 rebounds, and added 7 assists to give Golden State a 3–0 lead. In the decisive Game 4, he recorded a triple-double with 20 points, 12 rebounds, and 10 assists.

This was Durant’s second consecutive Finals MVP, following his award in the 2017 Finals.
