Who was the captain of Spain in FIFA World Cup 2010?

The captain of Spain in the 2010 FIFA World Cup was Iker Casillas. The goalkeeper led La Roja during its historic tournament in South Africa and lifted the trophy after Spain defeated the Netherlands 1–0 in the final on 11 July 2010.

Casillas was more than a ceremonial captain. He made crucial saves throughout the knockout stage, including a one-on-one stop against Arjen Robben in the final. Spain also kept clean sheets in all four knockout matches, a major reason the team became world champions for the first time.
