Désiré Doué was named Player of the Match in the 2026 UEFA Super Cup. The Paris Saint-Germain forward scored the winning goal and assisted the opener in the 2–1 victory over Aston Villa.

Doué helped create Paris’s first goal by supplying Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, who scored in the 20th minute. Doué then scored himself in the 61st minute after receiving a pass from substitute Ousmane Dembélé.

UEFA’s Technical Observer Group highlighted both his goal and assist, along with his key passes and attacking contribution. The award followed Paris’s successful title defence and made Doué the latest in a line of recognised Super Cup performers.
