Eric Radford’s partner in mixed pairs figure skating at the 2018 Winter Olympics was Meagan Duhamel.
The Canadian pair competed together at PyeongChang, South Korea, in February 2018. They first helped Canada win gold in the figure-skating team event, then earned bronze in the individual pairs competition. Their Olympic results capped a highly successful partnership.
Duhamel and Radford were two-time world champions, winning the pairs title in 2015 and 2016. They also won seven Canadian national championships between 2012 and 2018. At the 2018 Games, they finished behind Germany’s Aljona Savchenko and Bruno Massot and China’s Sui Wenjing and Han Cong in the pairs event.
A common mix-up is confusing their pairs event with ice dance, another discipline within Olympic figure skating. Radford also won an Olympic team-event gold medal, while Duhamel and Radford’s individual pairs result was bronze. Radford retired from competitive skating after the 2018 season.
