Who plays Connie Torres in Camp Rock 3?

Maria Canals-Barrera plays Connie Torres in Camp Rock 3.

Connie is the director of Camp Rock and the mother of Mitchie Torres. Canals-Barrera reprises the role from the first two Camp Rock films, giving the third film a direct link to the original story rather than presenting the camp as an entirely new institution.

In the sequel, Connie helps oversee the competition for Connect 3’s new opening act. She confiscates campers’ phones to prevent leaks and warns that anyone caught with one will be removed from the contest. She also helps manage the consequences when a performance is secretly recorded and posted online.

Demi Lovato plays Mitchie, Connie’s daughter, and appears when Mitchie visits Final Jam. The two characters are therefore related in the story, but they are played by different actors.
