Who played Barry Kripke?

John Ross Bowie played Barry Kripke on The Big Bang Theory.

Barry Kripke is a recurring Caltech physicist and one of Sheldon Cooper's academic rivals. He works in plasma physics and regularly competes with Sheldon for recognition, research opportunities, and the upper hand in their often childish conflicts. Kripke's distinctive speech impediment, caused by rotacism, makes his inability to pronounce the letter “R” part of many jokes.

Bowie is an American actor and comedian who became widely known through this role. He also played Jimmy DiMeo on Speechless and has appeared in shows including Curb Your Enthusiasm, Glee, and Reno 911! His comedy background helped shape Kripke's dry, antagonistic timing.
