Who led the Kansas City Chiefs in rushing in Super Bowl IV?

Mike Garrett led the Kansas City Chiefs in rushing in Super Bowl IV. He carried 11 times for 39 yards and scored a touchdown in Kansas City’s 23–7 victory over the Minnesota Vikings.

Garrett’s touchdown came on a five-yard run in the second quarter, helping the Chiefs build control of a game that became a landmark for the American Football League. Super Bowl IV, played on January 11, 1970, was the final AFL–NFL World Championship Game before the leagues completed their merger.

The question can cause confusion because quarterback Len Dawson was named the game’s Most Valuable Player, while running back Otis Taylor made a major impact as a receiver. Garrett, however, was Kansas City’s leading rusher by rushing yards and carries.
