Callie leads the second competition challenge in Camp Rock 3.
The second challenge is dance-focused, and Callie leads it while Lark eliminates contestants. Callie is introduced as an aspiring dancer who joins the new Camp Rock competition, making her skills especially relevant to this stage of the contest.
The challenge changes the group of contestants. Sage distracts Lark to save her brother Desi from elimination, but Lark instead bumps into Maddie and eliminates Maddie and her backup dancers. Sage, Desi, Fletch, Rosie, and Cliff become the finalists.
Callie also has an important connection to Desi’s character arc. After initially declining her invitation because he says he cannot dance, Desi later asks Callie for dance lessons. Her role therefore extends beyond leading one challenge: she helps another camper gain confidence as the competition develops.
