Tim Canterbury's pregnant desk-mate in The Office Christmas specials is Anne.
Anne appears when the documentary crew revisits Wernham Hogg several years after the original series. Tim is still stuck in the job he dislikes, while Anne occupies the desk beside him and is described as obnoxious and pregnant. Elizabeth Berrington plays the character.
Anne is not part of the main two-series ensemble. She was introduced specifically for the Christmas specials as a new source of irritation for Tim, replacing the office rivalry he previously had with Gareth as his nearest desk companion. The production notes explain that the character was designed to be even more annoying than Gareth.
A common mix-up comes from the many female office characters elsewhere in the series. Donna, Rachel and Trudy are all associated with earlier storylines, but none is Tim's pregnant Christmas-special desk-mate. The specials aired in two parts on 26 and 27 December 2003 and serve as the show's televised finale.
