Who is the main villainous racing rival in Pixar's Cars 3?

Jackson Storm is the main villainous racing rival in Pixar's Cars 3.

Storm represents a new generation of highly advanced racers who use modern training, simulation, and aerodynamic technology. His speed quickly makes older competitors, including Lightning McQueen, appear outdated on the Piston Cup circuit.

Unlike Lightning, who builds his identity around experience and personal relationships, Storm is presented as intensely focused on performance and winning. His success creates the crisis that sends Lightning searching for a way to remain competitive after a major crash.

Jackson Storm is voiced by Armie Hammer in the English version. He should not be confused with Chick Hicks, Lightning's rival in the first Cars, or Francesco Bernoulli, the Italian racer featured prominently in Cars 2. Each represents a different stage of Lightning's career.
