Who is the CEO of Capri Holdings?
Answer
John D. Idol
Answer
John D. Idol
John D. Idol is the CEO of Capri Holdings.
Idol has served as Capri Holdings’ chief executive since December 2003 and has also been its chairman since September 2011. He originally became CEO when the company was still known as Michael Kors Holdings Limited.
Before joining the Michael Kors parent company, Idol held senior leadership roles in fashion and retail. He was chief executive of Donna Karan International from 1997 to 2001 and later chairman and CEO of Kasper ASL, whose brands included Anne Klein. He also held a senior position at Ralph Lauren.
Michael Kors is the designer and namesake of one of Capri’s brands, not the group’s CEO. Lance LePere is a fashion designer and Michael Kors’s husband, while Anna Wintour is a Vogue editor and fashion executive. Those names belong to the wider fashion world but do not lead Capri Holdings.
