Who is the author of C.S. Lewis’s Narnia series?
Answer
C.S. Lewis
Answer
C.S. Lewis
C.S. Lewis is the author of The Chronicles of Narnia series.
Lewis wrote seven connected fantasy novels set chiefly in the fictional world of Narnia. The series begins with The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe in its original publication sequence and concludes with The Last Battle, published in 1956.
The stories combine talking animals, invented history, mythological creatures, and Christian symbolism. The principal recurring figure is Aslan, a lion who functions as Narnia’s king and creator. Several books also feature human children from Earth who enter Narnia through magical means.
The books are sometimes listed in a different reading order because later editions commonly use internal chronological order, beginning with The Magician’s Nephew. Lewis originally published The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe first, however, and publication order remains a standard way to approach the series.
