Who hosted and narrated the 2019 revival of The Twilight Zone?

Jordan Peele hosted and narrated the 2019 revival of The Twilight Zone. His role deliberately echoes Rod Serling, who created, presented, and narrated the original series that ran from 1959 to 1964.

Peele was announced as the revival’s host and narrator in September 2018, while also serving as an executive producer through Monkeypaw Productions. He helped frame each standalone story, appearing in the opening and closing presentation that guided viewers into the series’ updated version of the “fifth dimension.”

The revival premiered on April 1, 2019, through CBS All Access, later associated with Paramount+. It was developed by Simon Kinberg, Jordan Peele, and Marco Ramirez, and ran for two seasons totaling 20 episodes. The second season was released in 2020.

A frequent mix-up is with Forest Whitaker, who presented and narrated the 2002 revival, or Keith David, who narrated the 1985 revival. Morgan Freeman was not the host of a Twilight Zone television revival. Peele’s position was specific to the 2019–2020 series, not the original program.
