Who held the previous record for youngest UEFA Super Cup scorer before 2026?
Answer
Patrick Kluivert
Answer
Patrick Kluivert
Patrick Kluivert held the previous record for youngest UEFA Super Cup scorer before 2026.
Aston Villa teenager Brian Madjo broke Kluivert’s record when he scored against Paris Saint-Germain in the 2026 final. Madjo was 17 years and 212 days old, making him the youngest scorer in the competition’s history.
Kluivert had set the earlier mark at 19 years and 220 days. The record stood until Madjo scored a side-footed volley from John McGinn’s cross on the stroke of half-time.
The record belongs to a goal in the Super Cup, not simply to the youngest player who appeared in a final. Madjo also became the youngest player ever to start a Super Cup match, but those are separate milestones. Paris eventually won 2–1 after Désiré Doué scored in the 61st minute.
