Who has voiced Pikachu in the Pokémon anime across languages?

Ikue Ōtani has voiced Pikachu in the Pokémon anime across languages.

Unlike most characters in the international Pokémon dubs, Pikachu's voice has generally remained the same worldwide. Ōtani performs Pikachu's familiar vocalizations, including the character's repeated name, rather than having each country's dub replace the voice with a different actor.

This consistency supports one of Pikachu's defining traits: the character communicates primarily through variations of “Pika” and “Pikachu.” The performance conveys emotion through pitch, rhythm, volume, and context even when the character does not speak in ordinary human sentences.
