Who directed Metallica's "Enter Sandman" promotional video?

Wayne Isham directed Metallica's "Enter Sandman" promotional video.

The video supported the lead single from Metallica's 1991 album and helped establish the song's visual identity. Isham was an experienced music-video director who also worked with other major rock and pop acts.

At the 1992 MTV Video Music Awards, the "Enter Sandman" video won the award for Best Rock Video. That recognition reflected the song's rapid rise from a new single to one of Metallica's defining mainstream hits.

The album generated several other videos, including clips for "The Unforgiven," "Nothing Else Matters," "Wherever I May Roam," and "Sad but True." Wayne Isham's credit applies specifically to the "Enter Sandman" promotional film, not to every Black Album video.
