Who co-created Brooklyn Nine-Nine with Dan Goor?

The story behind the answer

Brooklyn Nine-Nine was co-created by Michael Schur and Dan Goor. Schur is therefore the correct answer to the question asking who co-created the series with Goor.

Schur and Goor had known each other since their Harvard days and later collaborated on Parks and Recreation. They developed the idea for a workplace comedy set inside a police station, inspired partly by the relative lack of sitcoms using that setting after Barney Miller.

Universal Television initially backed the project, but NBC passed on it, so the series was sold to Fox. Brooklyn Nine-Nine premiered there in September 2013 before moving to NBC for its sixth season. Common mix-ups include confusing Michael Schur with other writers and producers associated with the show, such as Mike Scully or David Miner. Schur also created The Good Place and worked on The Office and Parks and Recreation.
