Which writer joined Silo's writing staff for season 3?
Answer
Shelley Birse
Answer
Shelley Birse
Shelley Birse joined Silo’s writing staff for season 3.
Birse was added after the show’s first two seasons had already established a larger writing team. The original staff included Graham Yost, Jessica Blaire, Cassie Pappas, Ingrid Escajeda, Remi Aubuchon, Aric Avelino, Jeffery Wang, Lekethia Dalcoe and Fred Golan. Sal Calleros, Jenny DeArmitt-Stran and Katherine DiSavino joined for season 2.
Her arrival coincides with a major structural change in the adaptation. According to the series’ creative plan, seasons 1 and 2 adapt Hugh Howey’s Wool, while season 3 moves into Shift, the second book in the trilogy. That season therefore expands the story beyond Juliette’s immediate experience and explores the world before the Silos.
The distractors are all genuine Silo writers, which makes this a staff-history question rather than a recognition question. Ingrid Escajeda, Lekethia Dalcoe and Cassie Pappas were associated with earlier seasons; Birse is the writer specifically identified as joining for season 3.
