The Kraber is a care package-only sniper rifle in Apex Legends.
The Kraber .50-Cal is one of Apex Legends’ signature high-powered weapons. Rather than appearing as ordinary floor loot, it is found in care packages, which makes obtaining one risky and its ammunition deliberately limited. Its rarity is balanced by exceptional damage and the ability to punish accurate headshots.
The weapon is a bolt-action sniper rifle, so every shot demands careful aim and timing. Missing can be costly because the user must cycle the bolt before firing again. Its slow handling and scarce ammunition encourage players to use it for deliberate long-range attacks rather than continuous shooting.
Players sometimes confuse the Kraber with other powerful weapons that have entered or left the care-package loot pool during different seasons. The Charge Rifle is a sniper rifle but is not the canonical answer to this question, while the Peacekeeper and Mastiff are shotguns. The Kraber’s defining association is its rare care-package availability.
