Which U.S. military branch held the June 14, 2025 parade that began America250 celebrations?

The United States Army held the June 14, 2025 parade that began America250 celebrations.

The event was the United States Army 250th Anniversary Parade, held in Washington, D.C. The date was significant because June 14 is both Flag Day and the Army’s birthday, marking the Continental Congress’s creation of the Continental Army in 1775.

The parade took place before the central July 4, 2026 semiquincentennial anniversary. It served as an early national event connecting the Army’s own 250th anniversary with the broader America250 commemoration.

This event can be confused with the 2026 Independence Day celebrations or with military ceremonies involving other branches. The June 14, 2025 parade specifically commemorated the Army’s founding and was identified as the beginning of the America250 celebrations.
