Which university hosted Babbage's 1840 seminar on the Analytical Engine?

The University of Turin hosted Babbage's 1840 seminar on the Analytical Engine. The invitation gave Babbage an opportunity to present his developing machine to an academic audience in Turin, Italy.

Babbage's design included a memory-like store, an arithmetic unit called the mill, and punched cards for entering instructions and data. Unlike his Difference Engine, which was intended for specific calculation tasks, the Analytical Engine was conceived as a general-purpose machine.

Luigi Federico Menabrea, then a young Italian engineer and later a prominent political figure, attended the seminar and wrote a French account of Babbage's explanation. Menabrea's article was published in 1842 and later translated and expanded by Ada Lovelace. The university is sometimes confused with Cambridge because Babbage's work was closely associated with the University of Cambridge, where he held the Lucasian Professorship, but the 1840 seminar itself took place at Turin.
