Which ukiyo-e artist created the illustrated book Fugaku Hyakkei, known in English as One Hundred Views of Mount Fuji?

The story behind the answer

Katsushika Hokusai created Fugaku Hyakkei, known in English as One Hundred Views of Mount Fuji. It is a three-volume illustrated book series first published in 1834, after his Thirty-six Views of Mount Fuji.

Unlike a conventional collection of colored single-sheet prints, Fugaku Hyakkei is primarily a book of black-and-white illustrations. Hokusai explored Mount Fuji through imaginative arrangements, legends, work scenes, architecture, and natural forms. The mountain is sometimes central and monumental, while in other images it is partially hidden or incorporated into a visual joke.

The English title can be misleading: the books contain more than exactly one hundred views when all illustrations are counted. The work is also distinct from the separate Thirty-six Views of Mount Fuji series.
